South-East Queensland shut down as heavy rains bring the area to a standstill

Share:

The Queensland Police have advised employers to allow workers to leave by midday or to let them stay home all together as rains threaten public transport and to cause havoc on the roads.

Schools from Anges Water to the New South Wales border have been closed with people urged to stay home and only leave if absolutely necessary.

If you are travelling check the Road Maps from the Emergency services.

We will update more on the situation as it happens.
