Elvis may be gone, but his former wife is making sure his memory lives on.

Priscilla Presley is heading Down Under for an intimate tour with fans where she promises to reveal details of her relationship with the ‘King’ and how she coped after his death.

“Be riveted by Priscilla as she takes us on a journey through her fascinating life,” the tour’s website reads.

“Audiences will feel invited into her living room as she shares intimate stories and hand-picked pieces from her private collection of home movies and photos.”

The evening will be hosted by entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and will also give audience members the opportunity to put their own questions to Presley.

Presley was married to Elvis from 1967–1973, during which she gave birth to their daughter Lisa-Marie.

The musician famously spent years wooing the young Priscilla, who was just 14 when they met.

Priscilla’s parents were said to be sceptical of their relationship in the early days, but eventually agreed to let her move from Germany to join him at Graceland and finish high school in America.

Elvis proposed to her in 1966, when she was 21 years old.

Although the couple had divorced by the time Elvis died in 1977, Presley was named co-executor of his estate and was instrumental in turning Graceland into the multi-million dollar tourist attraction it is today.

The tour will land in four major cities around Australia.

Sat 4 November – Gold Coast The Star

Mon 6 November – Perth Crown Theatre

Thu 9 November – Melbourne Crown Palladium

Sun 12 November – Sydney Star Event Centre
