If you thought entering your 70s meant you had to tone down things in the fashion department, think again.

Dame Helen Mirren, 73, showed off her impeccable style once again this week as she stepped out in a green floral dress to attend the Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw film premiere in London.

Mirren’s dress nipped her in at the waist before billowing out into a full-length skirt – reminiscent of the swing dresses that were the height of fashion in the ’50s – which featured a stunning pink floral design.

The talented actress showed off her quirky style in the eye-popping frock, which she teamed with pink court heels and a matching bag for the star-studded event on Tuesday. While she added a touch of glamour to the look with a dazzling pair of statement dangling earrings.

Her signature cropped blonde hair was swept to the side and she kept her make-up to a minimum, opting for neutral eyeshadow and a soft pink lip.

The talented actress is set to reprise her role as Magdalene Shaw, the mother of the shameless Deckard and Owen Shaw, in the new spin-off Fast & Furious film, which is set to hit Australian cinemas next month.

Meanwhile, Mirren was last seen out and about for the memorial service of German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld last month in a bold power suit and killer heels.

The actress has made a name for herself as a fashion icon over the years and her outfit didn’t disappoint, with the black ensemble showing off her incredible figure and confident personality.

Mirren looked sensational in a pair of black pants, a tailored jacket and a high-neck white shirt for the occasion.

Standing tall in black heels, the 73-year-old took to the stage to pay tribute to the designer who passed away in February this year, with a reading from Lagerfeld’s memoir while accompanied by violinist Charlie Siem. The German creative director sadly died at the age of 85 after reportedly battling with pancreatic cancer.
