Sorry, Victoria. Our apologies, New South Wales. And our sincere condolences, Western Australia. But the news is in and it’s official: Queensland has the best beaches in the country. If you don’t agree, then you might like to takeit up with TripAdvisor and their Top Beaches in Australia list

Not only does Queensland take out the top gong for the best beach in the country with Whitehaven Beach on the Whitsundays, but all top three spots are in Queensland with Surfers Paradise Beach and Noosa Main Beach following closely behind.

But it wasn’t just the first three positions, there were a variety of Queensland beaches that made it into the top 10 with Burleigh Heads beach coming in at number six, Mooloolaba Beach at number eight and The Strand in Townsville at number nine.

Don’t worry, rest of Australia, there were some other beaches on the list too, and they seem pretty nice. But nothing can compare to a Queensland beach, as TripAdvisor can attest to. Here’s the full list of the beaches that TripAdvisor featured in their Best Beaches in Australia list. Queenslander!!
