One afternoon in the Arctic Circle, a father polar bear and his son were sitting in the snow.
The son turned to his father and asked – “Dad, am I 100 per cent polar bear?”
“Of course, son, you’re 100 per cent polar bear,” his father replied.
A few minutes passed, and the young polar bear turned to his father again and said: “Dad, tell me the truth. I can take it. Am I 100 per cent polar bear? No brown bear, panda bear or grizzly bear in me?”
“Son, I’m 100 per cent polar bear and your mother is 100 per cent polar bear, so you’re certainly 100 per cent polar bear,” the father said.
A few more minutes passed, and the son turned to his father and said: “Dad, don’t think your sparing my feelings if it’s not true. I really need to know… am I really 100 per cent polar bear?”
Worried by the continued questioning, the father finally asked his son: “Why do you keep asking if you’re 100 per cent polar bear?”
The young polar bear said: “Because I’m bloody freezing to death out here!”
