The Princess of Wales delighted royal fans by hosting her highly-anticipated Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on Friday December 6, bringing festive cheer and celebrating the spirit of the season.
Dressed elegantly in a festive red coat adorned with a striking black bow and buttons, Catherine joined her family for the cherished annual tradition.
This year’s concert honoured the vital support people provide to one another during challenging times—a deeply meaningful theme for the Princess, who stepped back from public duties for much of 2024 as she battled cancer.
In a heartfelt letter, Catherine expressed gratitude to the 1,600 attendees invited for their remarkable efforts in helping others in their communities.
“The Christmas story encourages us to consider the experiences and feelings of others,” Catherine wrote.
“It also reflects our own vulnerabilities and reminds us of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences.”
