Reflections Holidays has launched a fuel offset voucher program offering guests a $25 credit in response to rising fuel prices and broader cost of living pressures.
The initiative, which begins today and runs until April 30, will apply across all 40 holiday parks operated by the New South Wales-based organisation. Guests who stay for two nights or more during the period will be eligible for the credit, including those with existing bookings and new reservations.
Reflections Chief Executive Officer Nick Baker said the program was introduced as travellers continue to face increasing financial pressures.
“We are happy to offer this fuel offset voucher to any of our guests who are staying for two nights or more at any of our parks, starting from today until April 30, and this applies to guests who already have bookings or are considering booking in this period,” Baker said.
“We hope this credit brings some peace of mind to our guests who have already booked over Easter or are weighing up whether to travel in April, because we know that they, like all of our team, are concerned by the rise in the cost of fuel, alongside general costs in living.”
Baker said family holidays remained important for maintaining connections and that camping continued to be one of the most affordable travel options.
“Family holidays are incredibly important to stay connected with each other and camping is still the most affordable way to get together and relax and get all the benefits of being outdoors and in nature,” he said.
He described the fuel offset initiative as a first for the organisation, citing changing global conditions affecting domestic travel.
“We are witnessing unique global circumstances which have impacted the travel plans of Australians and this requires a unique approach from us as an industry leader,” he said.
Baker said Reflections operated parks in a range of coastal and inland locations and offered accommodation options to suit different budgets.
“Camping remains one of the most affordable holiday options. You can pitch a tent along the eastern seaboard or in one of our inland parks, book a range of cabins, from budget to premium, or indulge in our glamping precinct Wilderluxe at Lake Keepit,” he said.
Under the program, eligible guests will receive the $25 credit in their account during the first week of May. The offer limited to one credit per booking during the promotional period.
“We understand it’s a tricky time and if you’d like to chat about your booking, our team is always happy to help,” Baker added.
