An incredibly attractive copper has been dubbed the ‘world’s hottest policeman’ after a video showing him dancing and whistling a ditty went viral – thanks in part to his impressively muscular arms.

The handsome cop, who has been not been named but identified as an officer for the British Transport Police, was filmed enjoying a dance and a laugh with his workmates in a station locker room.

“Let me mend those sorrows with a little tune,” he can be heard saying in the video, before showing off his hilarious dance moves, while whistling along to the tune and shaking his mug around, spilling tea all over the floor.

Published on the UK Cop Humour Facebook page, it wasn’t long before the officer had racked up a collection of admirers who commented on the officer’s impressive physique and good looks, barely even seeming to notice that he was whistling at all.

“Oh damn….I must be arrested and searched by this man,” one person wrote. “PLEASE tell us who he is!!! He’s far too hot to be anonymous,” another said.

While a third joked: “Ring, ring, hello can I have his number?”.

The video sent the internet into meltdown, due more to the officer’s muscular body and gorgeous face than his so-called dancing. Within no time at all the clip had been viewed over 45,000 times with hundreds of likes, shares and comments.

This isn’t the first time that officers of the law have gone viral thanks to their dance moves, as a video of police officers from a US department filmed a lip sync video in their police station earlier this year, proving the they still know how to have fun despite their serious job.

The four and a half minute clip showed a group of officers letting their hair down as they dance their way through the station, miming along to hit pop song ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars.

Thanks to their impressive moves, the video has been viewed more than 48 million times, received 1.2 million likes on Facebook and shared an enormous 1.3 million times.

Police officers from Norfolk Police Department, in Virginia, USA, recorded the viral video in response to a challenge from a rival station – and the cops even roped in first responders, fire fighters and even the bomb squad to take part in their own funky video.

What do you think of the video? Did it give you a laugh?
