British broadcaster Piers Morgan has been put in his place during yet another tirade against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, by a guest appearing on his show, Uncensored.

Morgan began his rant complaining that “whiny” Harry’s upcoming memoir to be released in January 2023, titled Spare, was an intentional clash with King Charles III’s coronation.

“I’m sure his father is thrilled about it,” he said.

“This is a family we are talking about, they had a pop at them on Oprah, are they really going to do it all again in a book?”

Author and royal expert, Tessa Dunlop, told Morgan that if the memoir is such a problem for him, he should refrain from talking about it.

“Do you know, if you don’t want this book to succeed, if it irks you that much, stop talking about it! That’s all I have to say to you,” Dunlop hit back at Morgan.

Morgan said he had no doubt the book would sell, but that wasn’t the point of his anguish.

“Oh no, it will succeed. It will be a massive number one, it will be a bestseller,” he replied.

“That’s not my argument, he’s got to get his money by going out there and flogging it.

“My point is he is trashing the institution and the people at the head of it who have awarded him his title.”

Dunlop branded Morgan as a “bully” and issued a reminder that the Prince was brought up in “a goldfish bowl from day one”, claiming Meghan Markle was his “saviour”.

“The Queen never complained, never explained, she never trashed the monarchy,” Morgan retorted, insisting Harry “should not be allowed” to release the memoir.

However, Dunlop maintained the Royal family will just have to take the book in their stride.

The Duke of Sussex has promised his forthcoming memoir would be a “firsthand account” of his life that’s “accurate and wholly truthful”.

The 416-page book – with its title referencing Prince Harry being the royal “spare” and unlikely to ascend to the throne – will cover all aspects of the Duke’s life, from growing up in the public eye, to his military service, to marrying Meghan Markle and becoming a father to Archie and Lilibet.

“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man, I have become,” Prince Harry said.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

It is understood that book was intended to be released this year but was rumoured to have been delayed as Harry was having second thoughts about exposing his family in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September.
