Crown Princess Mary has shared a series of candid photos taken on a recent family summer trip to Gråsten, Denmark — the official summer residence of the Danish royal family. The Hobart-born royal, 48, shared a total of four personal photographs, most of which were taken by Princess Mary herself, on the official Danish royal family’s Instagram page on Saturday.
In one of the photos, Frederik, 52, Mary and their children, Prince Christian, 14, Princess Isabella, 13, Princess Josephine, 9, and Prince Vincent, 9, can be seen posing happily together on a deck.

In another photo shared to social media, Mary and Frederik, who have been married for 16 years, posed alone together. The couple are both dressed casually for the pic, with Mary sporting a grey sweater and colourful maxi skirt, and Frederik opting for a casual linen tee and pants.
Another picture shows Princess Isabella posing with the family’s border collie Grace, and a fourth shows Prince Christian on the grounds of the palace.
“A couple of wonderful memories from the summer in the beautiful Graasten,” the Danish royal family captioned the post. “With the desire for a continued good summer — preferably with a little more sunshine.”
Many royal fans were quick to comment, with one writing: “Beautiful family. Prince Christian and Princess Isabela are so grown up. Nice pic.” Another added: “Beautiful family! Strong in their traditions and love of Queen and country.” While a third wrote: “Gorgeous family pics.”
It comes just a few weeks after Princess Mary treated royal fans to new pics of her youngest children Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent. In the adorable photo, the 9-year-old twins could be seen smiling happily at the camera with tennis racquets in their hands, ready to take a hit and play a game together. And apparently – tennis is a much-loved hobby of their dad Frederik.
