Crown Princess Mary never disappoints when it comes to fashion, and the Australian-born royal was the picture of ladylike elegance on Monday as she stepped out in a royal blue dress for the Copenhagen 2021 Human Rights Forum, an international LGBTI+ event in Denmark.

The dress in question featured a high neck and cinched in at the waist. The 49-year-old mother-of-four coordinated the beautiful dress with a pair of navy-blue heels, however she later swapped these for a nude option, and minimal jewellery. She wore her hair out straight and opted for minimal makeup.

“Human rights, love and world goals were in focus when Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess gave the opening speech at the Copenhagen 2021 Human Rights Forum in the UN city of Copenhagen on Monday afternoon,” the translated post, which was shared to the Danish royal family’s official Instagram account, read.

“Copenhagen 2021 is the common name for the LGBTI + events WorldPride and EuroGames, which take place in Copenhagen on 12-22 of August, and the purpose of the Human Rights Forum is to put human rights and inclusion in relation to LGBTI + people on the agenda.⁣”

The new photos come almost a week after Mary marked a memorable occasion with her eldest son Prince Christian, who recently headed off to boarding school.

The photos were released on the Danish royals’ official Facebook page last Wednesday, showing a series of pictures including Crown Prince Frederik, 53, Princess Mary and their eldest child, Prince Christian, 15, at the Herlufsholm School.

In the caption of the post, the royals revealed it was Christian’s first day at the private boarding school which is located by the River Suså in Næstved, approximately 80 kilometres south of Copenhagen where the royals are based.

“His Royal Highness Prince Christian today moved into Herlufsholm’s dietary department in Næstved,” the translated post read.

“Tomorrow the Prince begins in high school, and today has been spent adjusting to the new surroundings and meeting the new schoolmates.”⁣

While the translated post reads “dietary department”, it’s understood it means boarding school where meals are provided.
