The Duchess of Cambridge looked sensational this week as she stepped out alongside husband Prince William in the United Kingdom. The couple’s outing marked a £1.8 million (AU$3.2M) grant from their Royal Foundation charity to 10 organisations across the UK, whose focus is the mental health of front-line health and emergency workers.

To celebrate the donation, the duke and duchess spent time with four representatives from some of the organisations set to benefit from the fund, including two paramedics and two mental health counsellors.

“Over recent months we have all been in awe of the incredible work that frontline staff and emergency responders have been doing in response to COVID-19,” a statement shared on the Kensington Royal Instagram account read. “And we know that for many of them, their families, and for thousands of others across the UK, the pandemic will have a lasting impact on their mental health.”

Catherine looked beautiful for the outing in a stunning 1950s-style shirt dress, which cinched her in at the waist and flared out into a pleated knee-length skirt. She wore her recently lightened locks down in waves, and kept her make-up natural for the casual engagement.

Meanwhile Prince William looked dapper in a pale blue checked suit jacket that perfectly complimented his wife’s look for the outing. In what his become his signature style, he finished his outfit with an open white shirt, no tie and a pair of navy blue slacks.

The unseen snaps were shared on social media overnight on Tuesday, ahead of George’s birthday. Both photographs show the third-in-line to the British throne enjoying time outdoors , as he flashes his sweet smile at the camera. “Sharing a [photo] taken by The Duchess ahead of Prince George’s seventh birthday tomorrow!” a post on the official Kensington Palace Instagram page read.
