As Australian singing sensation Jimmy Barnes continues his recovery from recent hospitalisation and surgery, the iconic Working Class Man hitmaker has thrilled fans by sharing an exciting new project.
Barnes is set to release a captivating new collection of stories titled Highways and Byways: Tall tales and short stories from the long way round , which will be available on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. This book promises to take readers on an exhilarating journey through the vibrant and adventurous life of one of the nation’s most beloved artists.
With his trademark energy and charisma, Barnes shares tales from his colourful experiences, including sharing a stage in 1970s Texas with a stellar lineup of American musicians, narrowly avoiding disaster in a Hawaiian high-rise, discovering a life-altering cassette tape, and uncovering family secrets in Glasgow.
As the highly anticipated release date draws near, Barnes revealed that he began writing the book back in 2016 and “can hardly believe” that he is about to release his sixth book.
