Spreading the Christmas cheer can come in many forms, and for Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, getting into the festive spirit means dancing around the Christmas tree.

Taking to Instagram, on Thursday, December 22, the 54-year-old Greatest Showman star shared an adorable clip of him and his 67-year-old wife showcasing their dance moves in front of a decked-out Christmas tree.

The loving couple kept things casual in their cozy sweatpants as they effortlessly nailed their choreographed dance to the song Finesse by Bruno Mars.

Deb & I are dancing into the holidays! Thank you to Mishay and Pedro for the steps and patience,” Jackman captioned his post.

Jackman’s post was met with a flood of comments from his fans, with many praising the actor for his dance moves and gushing over his fun relationship with his wife.

Ok if this isn’t my husband and I when we’re older then what’s the point.”

“Seriously partnership goals… love all the ways you guys show up for each other.”

“In addition to being my favorite actor, handsome, charming, intelligent, a great actor, he still dances well… Oh my heart in love with this man. Happy is his wife.”

“You’ve got the Christmas vibe moves down pat, HJ and Deb…lol.”

“You guys are so cute. Deb’s looking great!!”

The couple’s fun Christmas video comes just weeks after the couple downsized from their luxury triplex penthouse New York apartment for a smaller unit in Chelsea.

According to Women’s Day, the move had been “an unexpected stress” for the family and has only served to strengthen the couple’s desire to move back to Australia.

“Almost everything that didn’t go to the smaller apartment is being shipped to Oz,” a source tells the publication.

“They’re serious about moving Down Under one day and this was the perfect opportunity to start sending things back. Having a smaller place has freed up money to invest in their eventual base in Australia as well, so they’re excited about taking steps towards their Aussie dream.”

However, the couple is faced with one problem, their kids are “American”.

While the idea of relocating to Australia was appealing to everyone during the start of the pandemic, their kids have begun enjoying inner-city life in New York once again.

Jackman has never shied away from expressing his experience with homesickness with his loyal fans. During the 2020 lockdown, the actor shared videos of himself completing a jigsaw puzzle of the iconic Sydney Opera House.

“I miss the warmth of you! I miss you Sydney. What I am missing more is this piece. I’ve lost it. I’ve lost a piece of my heart,” he said.
