Aussie tennis legend Ash Barty has melted hearts across the nation after she was spotted at the Brisbane International alongside her baby boy Hayden.
Seated among the spectators at Pat Rafter Arena during the men’s singles showdown between Sebastian Korda and Yannick Hanfmann on Tuesday, January 2, Barty shared the moment with her mother, Josie, while cradling her six-month-old bundle of joy.
In a delightful scene, Hayden amused himself by gnawing on a water bottle cap, all the while seemingly engrossed in the on-court excitement.
Barty and baby Hayden’s public outing left fans delighted, many overjoyed to catch a rare glimpse of the “cute” youngster.
Barty welcomed her first child with her husband Gary Kissick on July 4, 2023, taking to Instagram to announce the exciting news with an adorable picture of the little bundle of joy.
“Our beautiful boy. Welcome to the world, Hayden!” she wrote at the time.
While the images of her new arrival took the internet by storm, Barty outdid herself when she treated fans to an enchanting series of new photos featuring baby Hayden a few months later.
The first showed the new mum holding a sleeping Hayden who is dressed in a cute dog-themed long-sleeve shirt, overalls, and a bucket hat.
The collection also includes a sweet photo of their two-month-old baby smiling for the camera and a candid snap of Barty’s husband and Hayden wearing matching red outfits.
“Outnumbered by the boys. Love every single minute,” Barty wrote alongside the photos.
While Barty continues to delight fans with updates on baby Hayden, she recently offered some further insight into what life is like as a new mum.
Although Barty’s stellar career no doubt brought her joy and an experience like no other, the former World No. 1 revealed that motherhood is “the best thing” she has ever done.
“And hardest thing I’ve ever done,” she added during an interview with the Herald Sun.
“Hayden is amazing, I feel so very lucky. Garry and I are really just enjoying what is a pretty quiet time together at home as a little family.”
