Facebook has just made its biggest change to your newsfeed yet – here’s what you need to know

Share:

Your News Feed on Facebook has had a big change overnight: there are now six new ways to respond to Facebook posts. They are called ‘Reactions’. Have you noticed the change?

You can now do more than simply “like” a post. Say hello to “love”, “haha”, “wow’, “sad” and “angry” reactions. It’s a fun way to express yourself about things on Facebook – you can easily show that you love it, laugh at it or feel angered by it!

Here’s how to use Facebook Reactions:

On a computer, you’ll need to hover over the “like” button to see the new emoji reactions. The reactions will pop up and then tap on the one you want to use.

On a mobile, you’ll need to press and hold down the “like” button before the reactions will appear.

Some Facebook users have reported that this is not working so here a few tips to make sure you get the latest update:

  • Close your app completely and reopen it. The reactions should then appear.
  • Go to to the App Store or Android Play store and update the app.

Don’t forget to ‘Love’ our posts!
