She may not be as well-known as her royal cousins, but Princess Eugenie certainly knows how to capture attention at a public event.

The stunning royal, 28, didn’t disappoint in the style stakes as she attended the premiere of documentary Sharkwater Extinction in London on Tuesday night.

Eugenie dressed up for the occasion in a chic black midi dress, which she layered with a gorgeous festive red coat by London-based label Galvan. She kept her accessories simple opting for a sensible pair of black court shoes, and wore her brunette locks out in soft waves.

The action-packed documentary was made by acclaimed Canadian director and conservationist Rob Stewart, 37, who died in a scuba diving accident in January 2017.

Eugenie, who is an ambassador for marine charity Project Zero, met the filmmaker’s mother Sandy Stewart, who finished the documentary with husband Brian after their son’s death.

Since her wedding in October, the young royal has completed lots of charity work for some truly great causes, including Project Zero’s Pass on Plastic initiative — a new reusable product range.

On Tuesday, Eugenie shared a picture holding one of their bottles, which she designed. In the snap, the princess donned an elegant green and navy plaid dress. The princess looked sensational in an a-line dress, which she teamed with a pair of stylish black boots.

The princess is one of the few royals to have a personal Instagram account, and regularly updates her followers with insights into her busy schedule.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Very excited to have designed a reusable water bottle and canvas bag in support of @weareprojectzero.”

Fans were quick to praise the newly-married royal on the positive change she was making.

“Brilliant, plastic it is a huge global issue,” one commentator wrote.

Another added: “Great to see you promoting something so important.”

A third message read: “Thanks for getting involved.”

It comes after Eugenie shared a never-before-seen family throwback to social media last week. The sweet image shows the young princess and her sister Beatrice, now 30, donning matching yellow scrunchies.

The 28-year-old uploaded the childhood snap to Instagram and captioned the adorable picture: “#tbt to cheeky smiles and scrunchies with my sister.”
