Melanie Griffith might not attend many Hollywood parties, but when she does, she ensures she leaves a lasting impression.

And the 60-year-old actress stole the limelight at a Beats By Dre party in California on Wednesday, showing off her flamboyant style in a tight-fitting patterned dress.

The fitted dress showed off her slim figure, and she coupled it with some bright red 1970s-style shoes, managing to turn back the clock in one appearance. To finish off the dramatic look she added red-tinted sunglasses and bright red lippy as she posed for photos.

The star looked happy and relaxed outside the venue, and wore her hair tied back in a loose bun while adding minimal make-up for the summery look.

Griffith is regularly praised for her fabulous looks, and giving fans a clue into her beauty regime this week, she shared a photo of her favourite creams laid out on a cabinet on Instagram.

It sparked a huge reaction from her fans as they shared their own treatment recommendations, from anti-wrinkle day creams to even baby creams.

It hasn’t been an easy few years for the actress, but she appears to be putting the hard times behind her as she makes her long-awaited return to the spotlight.

In October, Griffith revealed she has been living with epilepsy which she believes was brought on by stress after divorcing her husband of 18 years, Antonio Banderas.

“I was extremely stressed out. Every seizure that I had was at a point when I was extremely stressed,” she said during a panel discussion on brain health in Los Angeles.

She revealed she was diagnosed after suffering a seizures at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011.

“I had this major grand mal seizure and they took me to the hospital in Cannes and then brought me back to the boat,” she said. And then I had another seizure and I went back [to the hospital]. They did the EEG and started to look at it seriously.

“When I came back [to the U.S.], I was diagnosed with epilepsy and nobody had said to me over a period of 20 years, no one paid enough attention to even diagnose me.”
