She’s one of the most stylish First Ladies the White House has ever seen and Melania Trump has shown off her stunning fashion once again.
The 48-year-old stepped out in another elegant outfit as she hosted a reception in honour of United Nations General Assembly attendees at the US mission to the UN building in New York City. For the event, Melania opted for a gorgeous light pink cap-sleeved dress by designer Scanlan Theodore.
The dress complimented the First Lady in all the right places and came just below the knee.
The mother-of-one proved she didn’t need crazy patterns or outrageous fashion to steal the show and attention of those at the event. She wore a trendy pair of snakeskin designer heels. As always, Melania wore her luscious brunette locks in a straight hairstyle and completed her look with smokey eyes and lush lipstick.
Melania used her time in the spotlight to announce that she will be heading to Africa without Donald next week for a four-country tour. In one of her first solo ventures, the former fashion model announced she would be touring Ghana, Egypt, Kenya and Malawi. It will be her first solo trip overseas and she’ll be using the visit to communicate with officials from the four countries about how they handle issues confronting children.
It’s all part of her “Be Best” campaign, which was originally launched in May.
“Whether it is education, drug addiction, hunger, online safety or bullying, poverty or disease, it is too often children who are hit first, and hardest, across the globe,” she told audience members during her speech. “Each of us hails from a country with its own unique challenges, but I know in my heart we are united by our commitment to raising the next generation to be happy, healthy and morally responsible adults.”
Melania has stepped out in a number of gorgeous outfits in recent times. Last week, she opted for a business look when she welcomed the Polish president and his wife to the White House. She chose a wool, cream-coloured coat for the visit. It featured gold buttons and navy cuffs,
She also wore a pair of sky-high stilettos to complete the look and showed off her lovely legs during the visit with Andrzej Sebastian Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser.
