The Danish royal family arrived in style for the start of their four-day visit to the Faroe islands on Thursday.
Princess Mary, 46, who, along with the rest of the family, was dressed in a traditional Faroe costume. She and her two daughters, Princesses Josephine, 7, and Isabella, 11, wore a dress laced together with silver buttons and a cape. Her daughters finished of their look with matching embroidered bonnets.
Meanwhile her husband Crown Prince Frederick, 50, and their two sons, Princes Christian, 12, and Vincent, 7, wore a waistcoat and felt coat with silver buttons, blue stockings and the famous floppy hat.
The family travelled form their home in Copenhagen by boat greeting well-wishers as they approached the shore. The family is paying a four-day visit to the Danish island with the couple visiting the Island’s capital of Tórshavn on Thursday, Daily Mail reports.

Earlier this month, the ever-so stylish princess stunned in an embellished floor length gown as she attended a concert in Copenhagen.
The 46-year-old Australian was joined by Princess Benedikte for the lavish event, which marked 175 years since Georg Carstensen welcomed the first guests to the Tivoli Gardens amusement park, which he helped design.
Princess Mary’s deep crimson frock featured row upon row of silver embellishments which stretched from the dress’ high neckline all the way to the edge of its flowing skirt. The stunning gown also featured a tie around the waist, which showed off the princess’ beautiful figure.

She completed the elegant look with a pair of silver heeled sandals and carried a pale pink pashmina, to keep her warm throughout the night, adding some small finishing touches including a pair of drop earrings in a similar shade of red and a box clutch bag.
