She’s known for her effortless elegance during royal engagements and Sophie Wessex has once again stolen the style crown as she made a stunning appearance on her latest outing.

The Countess of Wessex, 54, flashed a radiant smile as she met crowds at Wittering in Cambridgeshire, UK, to open a new community play park for the RAF base – pulling out all the stops for the event.

Wearing an ankle-length flowing white dress, which was clinched in at the waist with a thin white belt, Sophie couldn’t fail to turn heads as she complimented the beautiful outfit with a black blazer.

And putting a bold spin on the outfit, she coupled it with some retro grey heels with a thick strap across her foot.

Wearing her hair tied up in a loose up do, Sophie completed her look with some silver dangly earrings and looked in great spirits as she shared a laugh with the crowd while cutting the ribbon.

According to the royal family’s official Instagram page, the new park was funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund, which provides support to RAF personnel, their families and veterans.

“As Honorary Air Commodore of RAF Wittering, during the visit HRH also met with six youth members of the RAF Wittering community team to learn more about the project,” a post on the page read.

Fans rushed to compliment the countess on her classy look, with one commenting: “Always elegant and beautiful.”

Another added: “Go Sophie we like our Soph, wholesome, simple and elegant all in one. Our Ed got a prize and I reckon he knows it too.”

And one simply wrote: “One of the best.”

It comes after Sophie was joined by her daughter Lady Louise as they met with the rest of the royal family for the annual Easter church service.

This year Her Majesty was joined by many of her children and grandchildren – also including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke of Sussex, the Duke of York and his eldest daughter Princess Beatrice.

While the Queen was greeted outside of St George’s Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, by her nearest and dearest, her eldest son Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were nowhere to be seen, along with the heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex who is expected to give birth to the newest royal baby any day now.

However the Queen’s other children, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and the Princess Royal, were all in attendance, as well as Princess Anne’s husband Timothy Laurence.

The Queen was also joined by her grandchildren Zara Tindall, along with husband Mike, Princess Beatrice, Peter Phillips, who was joined by his wife Autumn, along with her youngest grandchildren Lady Louise, 15, and James Viscount Severn, 11.
