Kerri-Anne Kennerley knows how to command attention even while amongst a crowd of her peers.

The Australian television personality, who just recently turned 64, was a standout amongst the many fabulously frock-up faces who attended the Australian Women’s Weekly Qantas Women of the Future Awards.

She looked bright and bubbly in a mint coloured jacket, short skirt and knee-high boots, all teamed with an oversized tote bag.

There were plenty of other big names at the event. Kerri-Anne stopped for a chat with foreign minister Julie Bishop who was one of the judges for the awards.

Other judges included Ita Buttrose, Lucy Turnbull and Today show co-host Lisa Wilkinson.

Other well-known faces adding their touch of style at the event were newsreader Sandra Sully and actress Marta Dusseldorp.

But it wasn’t all just about fashion, it was about celebrating young women who are determined to make a difference in this world.

Saskia Hampele, actress and founder of Gift Box, which distributes tampons to homeless women in Australia, was named judges choice winner.

Mikayla Ivanov, co-founder of The Tippy Toe Co, that organises dance classes for children with special needs, was the judges special mention winner.

People’s choice winner was Emily Whish-Wilson, founder of Bustle Bags, therapy backpacks for children with autism.

Which of these outfits is something you’d wear?
