Cameron Douglas is making sure his grandfather Kirk will always be part of his new-born daughter’s life.
Cameron’s partner Viviane Thibes gave birth to the couple’s first child on Monday and the pair has picked a name that pays tribute to Kirk.
The happy couple decided on Lua Izzy.
Kirk was actually born Issur Danielovitch and was known as Izzy for a lot of his life.
Cameron shared a snap of Thibes on social media shortly after the birth of little Lua and gushed of how proud he was of her.

“Today I took part in a miracle as my baby girl was introduced to the world through a beautiful Amazon warrior…I’m so proud of you @vivianethibes.”
Fans of the couple were quick to send their well-wishes on the safe arrival of Lua.
One person wrote: “You will love every second of being a father. A baby is a blessing, the most amazing love you will ever feel. Congratulations to your girlfriend and God bless your family.”
A second fan wrote: “Wishing you and yours all the best…what a fortunate man you are.”
A further comment read: “Congratulations! Such a beautiful time in your lives. Sending much love from me to you all. Love and peace.”
Cameron recently discovered a new lease on life following a seven-year stint in prison.
The son of Michael Douglas was a drug user and battled drug addiction.
He was released from jail in 2016 and met Viviane shortly after.
It’s good to see him getting his life back on track.
