Princess Charlene of Monaco has reunited with her family in South Africa after being separated for months as she underwent a number of medical procedures, and she couldn’t be more thrilled.

On Wednesday, the 43-year-old royal, who has been in South Africa for three months, shared a series of sweet family snaps, with herself, her husband Prince Albert and their two children, six-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella taking centre stage.

She captioned the photos: “I am so thrilled to have my family back with me. (Gabriella decided to give herself a haircut!!!) Sorry my Bella I tried my best to fix it.”

The first picture shows Charlene cuddling up to her children while a smiling Albert leans over them. Other photos show the twins playing in a tree, while the final image shows the entire family posing in between two trees. The pictures were reportedly taken at a safari resort in the Kwa-Zulu Natal of South Africa.

Charlene also shared two more photos with Albert. The couple were pictured embracing on a balcony.

Monaco’s Princess Charlene left the country in early May, with the royal revealing her initial 10-12 day South Africa trip had to be extended due to an illness.

The rumour mill was in full swing in early July after it was revealed the princess spent her ten-year anniversary apart from her husband Prince Albert.

News they’d be spending the anniversary apart sparked rumours of an impending split with publications quick to remember the tear-filled wedding and talk that she had tried to flee the country right before the big day, following reports Albert had fathered another illegitimate child.

At the time, the palace released a statement clearing up the rumours, stating the princess would be needing multiple medical “procedures” that will keep her in South Africa “indefinitely”.
