Princess Mary and Prince Frederik’s children are all grown up, and the Danish royal family treated fans to a rare glimpse of the four — Christian, 14, Isabella, 13, and twins Josephine and Vincent, who are nine years old — on their last day of school.
In the picture posted on the royal family’s official Instagram page, the young siblings can be seen posing together in sports gear. According to the royal family, the last day of school in Denmark is usually marked with a jam-packed day full of activities.

“Four expectant children on the last day of school before the autumn holidays,” they captioned the post. “Like so many other primary school students, the day will be marked by sports on the traditional Schools Exercise Day. It will of course be a different day of exercise than we are used to.
“But I know that around the whole of Denmark, the day has been organized so that the students can keep the necessary distance, but still maintain the community around exercise and sports enjoyment.”
Royal fans were quick to comment on how grown up the children look, with one writing: “Beautiful children, we have watched them grow from babies to where they are now.” Another added: “Four really nice children.”
The new picture comes just a few days after Princess Mary stepped out alongside the rest of the Danish royal family to mark the official opening of parliament in Copenhagen.
The Australian-born royal opted for a sophisticated ensemble for the occasion, pairing a blush pink silk pleated skirt with a structured black jacket, which fastened around her waist with a simple belt. But the standout piece of Mary’s outfit was a classic black pillbox hat that sat just above an elegant chignon.
Mary, 48, completed the sophisticated look with a pair of snakeskin stiletto heels and a statement brooch on her left lapel. Meanwhile, Mary’s husband Crown Prince Frederik looked smart in a navy blue suit, while his mother Queen Margrethe II, 80, wore a pale blue skirt suit and matching hat.
