Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is someone you can always count on to bring her A-game when it comes to fashion. And on Tuesday night, the Australian-born royal pulled out all stops for a luxurious dinner in Copenhagen.
Princess Mary, 49, wore a knitted off-the-shoulder dress by British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. According to Hello! Magazine, she paired the outfit with Gianvito Rossi 105 black suede heeled pumps and a Sergio Rossi black sequin clutch. The mother-of-four finished off the outfit with simple, understated jewellery and wore her brunette locks pushed back behind her ears.
The Danish royal family’s official Instagram shared several images from the outing, which showed Mary posing alongside Swiss diplomat Florence Tinguely Mattli.
“On Tuesday evening, the Swiss Embassy in Copenhagen marked the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Switzerland,” the caption read.
“Her Excellence Ambassador to Switzerland Florence Tinguely Mattli was the evening’s host, and present were also Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke and Chairman of the Board of Roche Dr Christoph Franz.”
Fans of Mary’s were quick to comment on her stunning ensemble, with one writing, “Beautiful Mary, you are all class.”
Another added: “Gorgeous as always.”
While a third wrote: “Always beautiful and elegant.”
Mary’s glam appearance comes just a few weeks after she stepped out in a number of beautiful outfits for Milan Design Week. For one event, held at Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Mary wore a shimmery blush dress.
The pleated dress was the perfect fit for the princess, tucking in at the waist, before flowing down in an asymmetrical style. Mary wore a white blazer over her shoulders to keep the wind off, and coordinated with a pair of nude, strappy heels, gold jewellery and a matching clutch, while she wore her hair out to the side.
