The royal family has released two more photos from Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding day, showing the smiling newlyweds posing on the grounds of Royal Lodge, after the wedding. Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were married in secret at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday, July 17.

The two photos were taken by Beatrice and Edoardo’s official wedding photographer Benjamin Wheeler. In one of the new photographs, Edoardo can be seen gazing adoringly at his new wife, while a second shows the happy couple holding hands as they walk through the grounds.

Many royals fans were quick to comment on the new pics, with one writing: “I think that’s probably my favorite wedding dress of all the royals. It looks so beautiful.” Another added: “Princess Beatrice is so lovely!” And a third wrote: “They look great together.”

Beatrice wore a vintage ivory taffeta dress by Norman Hartnell for the wedding, which she borrowed from grandmother, the Queen, and that was remodelled and fitted. The beautiful wedding dress featured organza sleeves, a checkered, geometric bodice, and diamanté details. Beatrice finished off the look with a diamond tiara that was worn by the Queen on her own wedding day in 1947.

It was confirmed on Friday that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony attended by the Queen and close family. The pair had originally planned to marry on May 29 in the Chapel Royal at St James’ Palace, but the ceremony was postponed because of the pandemic.

Princess Beatrice became engaged to Edo in September 2019, while they were on a weekend trip to Italy.

“We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually be married,” the couple said after their engagement. “We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
