Princess Beatrice is absolutely glowing. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, who’s expecting her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a matter of weeks, attended a garden party hosted by the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Russel House facility last week, and the mum-to-be looked stunning.
In photos shared on the organisation’s social media accounts overnight, Beatrice was seen meeting with some of the hospice’s families, staff and volunteers. For the occasion, the 33-year-old princess wore a black dress and a camel-coloured coat which she coordinated with a matching bow. Beatrice wore her hair out while she accessorised with a dark green velvet headband.
“In the last 10 years, the charity has supported over 800 families — I am simply lost for words as to the difference that this support has made to so many lives,” Beatrice said in a statement following the visit, People magazine reports.
“When people ask me why I became the patron of this amazing charity, I only have to explain how much of an important part of the community Russell House and the charity has become. And how much of a momentous achievement it is for us to be stood here today celebrating 10 years of supporting that community.”
Fans of Beatrice’s were quick to comment on the beautiful photos, with one writing: “Fabulous photos! Glorious smiles.” Another added: “The baby smiling at the Princess says it all. Love.”
The expectant mother announced her pregnancy news via the royal family’s Instagram page back in May. “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year,” a statement read at the time. “The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Since then, the mother-to-be has been pictured out and about, most recently attending the Wimbledon alongside her husband. For the occasion, Beatrice dressed her baby bump in a white Self-Portrait dress with black polka-dots. The gorgeous outfit featured puff sleeves and a ruched bodice, before billowing out into a longer skirt. Beatrice coordinated the outfit with a pair of stylish sunnies, while she wore her strawberry-blonde locks in a casual blowout look. It’s not clear how far along the princess is but she’s definitely showing! Meanwhile, Edo, as he’s known to friends, looked smart in a navy-blue suit.
