The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped out for day five of their royal tour, this time attending the opening of the newly renovated Anzac Memorial in Sydney.

Prince Harry sported his full Blues and Royals tropical military dress uniform for the occasion, looking every bit the proud soldier as he met NSW Governor David Hurley and his wife Linda outside the Hyde Park facility.

Meghan pulled out yet another show-stopping look for the occasion and dazzled onlookers in her black frock by New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead. The smart button-up dress fell loosely over the Duchess’s growing baby bump.

The royal duo’s involvement in the ceremony was reportedly kept quiet until the last minute. But barricades lining the street were a dead giveaway for locals, who quickly gathered along the street waiting to catch a glimpse of the couple as they made their way inside the memorial building.

Saturday is set to be a busy day for Harry and Meghan, who will next head to an Invictus Games driving event on Cockatoo Island, before attending a reception for the games at Bennelong restaurant, and finally the Opening Ceremony at the Sydney Opera House later tonight.

The Invictus Games are incredibly close to Harry’s heart, having founded them himself in 2015, in support of wounded veterans. It was also the place he chose to introduce Meghan to the world as his girlfriend just over a year ago in September, 2017.

The Duke and Duchess have kept a busy schedule since touching down in Australia on Monday. The pair announced Meghan is pregnant with their first child shortly after arriving, but haven’t let that get in the way of their many engagements.

They visited farmers in regional NSW on Wednesday, where they learned about the hardships many locals are facing because of the ongoing drought. Meghan delighted locals when she arrived at the Dubbo CWA stall with a loaf of homemade banana bread, which she baked for them during her stay at Admiralty House in Sydney the night before.

While hundreds of locals turned out to see the royals in Dubbo, it was unsuspecting five-year-old Luke Vincent who stole the show with his affectionate display towards Meghan and Harry.

While hugging the royals is usually frowned upon, little Luke didn’t hesitate to reach in for a hug from Prince Harry, who couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he interacted with the kindergartner, while Meghan watched on in delight. Clearly fascinated with Harry, little Luke then began stroking the 34-year-old’s ginger beard much to the prince’s amusement.

On Friday, the royals joined the OneWave surfing community at Bondi Beach, where they chatted about mental health and the importance of wellbeing awareness. Both Harry and Meghan are big advocates for raising awareness around mental health and work with several charities in the UK that specialise in the issue.

As part of their visit with OneWave, the parents-to-be took part in a special Fluro Friday celebration, where people wear bright colours and creative costumes while talking about mental health. The former Suits actress wore a pink-and-yellow lei of flowers around her neck, while Harry opted for a bright blue version.

They then joined a group of people on the beach where they sat on beach towels and wrapped their arms around each other in a big circle.

The Duke and Duchess only have a few days left on their Australian schedule. They’ll be in Sydney again on Sunday before heading to Queensland’s Fraser Island on Monday.
