Over the years we’ve grown accustomed to seeing the Duchess of Cambridge donning lycra tights and runners and showing off her impressive athleticism at various royal engagements, and on Monday it was the turn of the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan, alongside doting husband Prince Harry, attended the Coach Core Awards at Loughborough University, in the UK, and didn’t hold back as she got stuck into a special netball masterclass.

Even more impressive, was the fact that the 37-year-old Duchess managed to get through the whole event in stiletto heels and a tailored suit, opting not to don activewear for the sporting occasion, while Prince Harry donned a suit with an open shirt.

Meghan looked incredible at the ceremony in a navy blue Oscar De La Renta shirt, with a cascading ruffle design on one side, which she paired with an elegant pair of straight-leg trousers and towering high heels.

Contrary to her usual go-to style, Meghan left her long locks straight rather than curled or pulled back into a low bun.

Harry and Meghan presented awards to graduates of Coach Core, an apprenticeship programme that trains unemployed young people to be sports coaches and mentors.

And the royal couple were also treated to a masterclass hosted by England national netball star Eboni Beckford-Chambers, as they went head to head in a shootout competition.

Meghan and Harry couldn’t stop smiling during their official day out together and the couple, who tied the knot at Windsor Castle in May, were also caught on camera sharing a few tender moments as Harry wrapped his arm around his giggling wife.

The couple’s appearance together comes just four days after they stepped out with Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, 62, for the launch of new charity cookbook ‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’ in London.

It was the first time that social worker Doria had been seen with her daughter and son-in-law since their wedding on May 19, and Doria couldn’t hide her pride as she introduced herself as “Meg’s mom”.

Her appearance also struck a chord with royal fans the world over as she told the Daily Mail that she was “head over heels” with pride over her daughter’s involvement with the project.

What do you think of the royal couple? Are you looking forward to Prince Harry and Meghan’s visit to Australia next month?
