Prince Harry has once again drawn the ire of British media personality, Piers Morgan, after he revealed the title and release date of his highly anticipated memoir.

Spare takes “readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror”, publisher Penguin Random House announced in a statement.

The 416-page book – with its title referencing Prince Harry being the royal “spare” and unlikely to ascend to the throne – will cover all aspects of the Duke’s life, from growing up in the public eye, to his military service, to marrying Meghan Markle and becoming a father to Archie and Lilibet.

Although Buckingham Place is yet to make a comment regarding the Duke’s book, Morgan was quick to share his thoughts on the upcoming memoir.

Morgan continued with his Twitter tirade, taking aim at Prince Harry for “playing the victim” and claiming the release of the book will do damage to an already grieving King Charles.

“Playing the victim, again, as he trashes his family, again, from his California mansion. All while playing the big privacy & ‘humanitarian’ crusader… what a d*ckhead,” Morgan wrote.

“Do you care about the massive global damage this book will cause to our new King before he is even coronated, and while he still grieves for his mother?”

Morgan’s thoughts on the upcoming memoir received a mixed response from fans with some slamming the media personality for targeting Harry while other shared Morgan’s strong views.
