There’s less than a month to go before she walks down the aisle to become HRH Princess Eugenie, Mrs Jack Brooksbank, in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle.
Now, Buckingham Palace has revealed some new details about the bride-to-be’s special day, just as they did in the lead up to her cousin Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle back in May.
The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, will marry tequila brand ambassador Jack, 31, on October 12, with the couple following in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by inviting members of the public to join them within the castle grounds.
And it has now been revealed that the Wedding Service will take place at 11am with The Dean of Windsor, The Rt Revd. David Conner officiating, and the Archbishop of York, The Most Revd. and Rt. Hon. John Sentamu, leading the prayers.
The statement also described the young couple as “delighted” that Her Majesty the Queen has agreed to open the grounds to the public, confirming that invitations have now gone out to the 1,200 lucky members of the public who will join them on the day, with the palace having received more than 100,000 applications.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank have been touched by the many good wishes they have received in the run up to their Wedding on 12th October 2018,” a palace spokesperson said in a statement.
“They are looking forward to celebrating with their family, friends, and members of the public within the Castle grounds and in Windsor.”
The palace also revealed that Eugenie’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth will be hosting a reception for the newlyweds and their guests at Windsor Castle, after the couple have completed a carriage procession through the streets of Windsor. However, unlike Harry and Meghan’s carriage ride earlier this year, they will not travel along the Long Walk and will instead follow the shorter route, also traveled by Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, on their wedding day in 1999.
It has also been confirmed that, as with Prince Harry’s wedding, representatives of charities and organisations supported by the couple, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Salvation Army and the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, will also be present within the grounds.
While children from two local schools, St George’s School and Coworth Flexlands School, both of which Princess Eugenie attended, will be present, as well as members of the Windsor community, residents of Windsor Castle and a number of Royal Household staff.
The couple are believed to have been dating for around seven years after they met in the exclusive Swiss ski resort of Verbier in 2010, with Jack getting down on one knee in January during a romantic holiday to Nicaragua.
