Bonny in blue: Duchess of Cambridge and children don matching outfits for royal Easter Service

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two eldest children attended a traditional Easter service at Windsor Castle on Sunday, April 17, wearing elegant light blue outfits in celebration of the sacred day.

The Duchess of Cambridge stunned onlookers as she flaunted a graceful baby blue dresscoat, matching pointed blue pumps and an understated blue headband to pair. The Duchess topped the flawless outfit off with decorative pearl earrings and a light blue clutch, ever the portrait of royal beauty and sophistication.

However, Kate wasn’t the only royal to make a lasting impression, as her two eldest children, Prince George, 8 and Princess Charlotte, 6, looked adorable in their elegant ensembles. Prince George sported a handsome dark blue suit, patterned tie and coordinated baby blue undershirt while Princess Charlotte stole the show in a light blue and white floral dress, lined baby blue stockings and a cropped dark blue cardigan.

The happy family were pictured strolling to the church doors as they led the process of senior royals in attendance. Among the delightful snaps, the Duke of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte are seen holding hands as the adorable father and daughter duo appeared relaxed and excited for the day ahead.

An adorably impatient Princess Charlotte was also pictured tugging lightly at her mum’s dress appearing to direct her away from the church entrance at the end of the ceremony. Prince George, on the other hand, showed he had matured into quite the duteous young man as he was pictured shaking hands with The Right Reverend, David Conner as William appeared to watch the exchange with pride.

The annual service was attended bv a number of noteworthy royals including Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex alongside their two young children, however, Queen Elizabeth II was unable to attend the service due to ongoing mobility issues.

The Queen’s last public appearance was at Prince Phillip’s thanksgiving memorial on March 29, 2022.
