An adorable new Barbie doll has been released as part of Mattel’s Barbie Tribute Series, and it’s none other than Queen Elizabeth II herself.

The stunning regal doll replicates one of Queen Elizabeth’s most noteworthy appearances, dressed in an all-white floral dress with puffy sleeves and paired with a bedazzled tiara, elegant drop earrings and of course, a signature ivory sash, and regal “decorations of order”.

As revealed by Mattel, “The Barbie Tribute Collection celebrates visionaries whose incredible contributions have helped and impact culture”.

“Barbie celebrates the longest ruling monarch in British history, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose extraordinary reign has seen her lead with an immeasurable devotion to duty and a life of service,” read the product description.

The doll is complete with magnificent silver-white hair curled around the fringe area and detailed with graceful makeup and bright red lipstick. She also wears bright white gloves and a sparkling bracelet, with her hands placed together in front of her in quite literally a permanent pose of royal elegance and sophistication.

The Queen-inspired doll comes as the second edition in Barbie’s Tribute series which launched in 2021 with the release of a doll in honour of the actress Lucille Ball. The new doll pays special tribute to Her Majesty’s incredible legacy and celebrates her Platinum Jubilee year which marks her 70th anniversary on the throne.

The doll is valued at US $75 or AUS $100.85 and hit the market on Thursday, April 21. It is available for purchase from Amazon, Walmart, Mattel and Target.

Last year, the first doll of the Barbie Tribute series was released in the form of the late American actress and comedian, Lucille Ball. The doll came as a special tribute to Ball’s incredible career and legacy. The actress passed away on April 26, 1989, as the result of a ruptured aorta after open-heart surgery.
