Dame Helen Mirren may be 73 but that hasn’t stopped her from attracting the attentions of a much younger admirer, as rapper Curtis Jackson – aka 50 Cent – admitted he has the hots for the talented Hollywood star.
After initially confessing his love of the blonde beauty last year, following their meeting at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, the 43-year-old rapper recently revealed he is still head over heels for the actress.
Speaking on American chat show Conan recently, Fiddy, as he’s also known, explained in hilarious detail how Mirren’s alluring stare continues to capture his attention.
“I just saw her in the south of France…she just looked at me and there was this interesting thing going on in her eyes,” the rapper said with a grin.
“There is this confidence thing there from being tested and proven. She looks at you like she knows she’s sexy.”
He added: “Her husband wasn’t far behind while she was doing this…but she still has the habit of looking at you that way and it’s just the way it is.”
Prompting Jackson further, host Conan O’Brien jokingly asked whether he would try his luck at a relationship should Helen’s doting husband Taylor Hackford die, saying: “Is it possible you two could ever happen? Could there be a relationship there some day?
Not wanting to step on anyone’s toes, the musician was quick to defend himself, claiming he wouldn’t go there while Taylor is still alive.
“As long as he’s alive I wouldn’t say yes…it’s not right. I don’t want anyone waiting on me to get knocked off,” he rapper exclaimed.

50 Cent, best known for his 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and current TV show Power, first declared his love for The Queen actress after a photo of the pair posing together emerged following the festival last year.
Revealing exactly why Helen brought such a big smile to his face, it was clear the rapper was certainly not put off by the 30 year age gap. “I think I love her man, I’m trying not to stare at her,” he said.
“She know she turns me on. She just has that thing, you know I can’t describe it,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
