Royal fans will catch a rare glimpse of Prince Catherine once again after Buckingham Palace announced she will be attending Remembrance Day events alongside the Royal Family.

Catherine has only made a handful of public appearances this year after undergoing treatment for cancer.

However, she is set to return to the public eye once again with appearances at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend, Buckingham Palace announced.

Catherine’s involvement in the Remembrance Day events will mark the first time she has carried out two consecutive days of public official engagements since the start of the year.

“Members of the Royal Family will attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

“His Majesty The King became Patron of the Royal British Legion earlier this year.

“The Festival will be attended by His Majesty The King, The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and The Duke of Kent.”

The Palace further detailed plans for Remembrance Sunday, stating: “The King and Members of the Royal Family will attend the annual Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday.”

“The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and The Duke of Kent will also attend the Service.”

News of Catherine’s next public appearance comes after Prince William offered a welcomed update regarding his wife’s well-being, telling the British press that she is doing “really well” following her treatment for cancer.

Speaking ahead of the annual Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in South Africa, William shared the rare update.

“She’s doing really well thanks,” he told the BBC.

While Catherine was unable to accompany William on the trip due to her ongoing recovery, William said she would be cheering him on from home.

“She’s been amazing this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success,” he added.
