The Scottish-born chef has found international fame with an array of successful TV shows and books.

He’s best known for his huge temper and outrageous outbursts on his TV shows, but Gordon Ramsay has now shocked fans by showing off his ripped body and perfect pecs on social media.

The 51-year-old celebrity chef posed in a pair of tight swimming trunks on Instagram, sparking a huge reaction from fans who are more used to seeing him in his chef’s uniform.

The photo shows the father-of-four stood in front of the ocean as he prepares to return to London to compete in the London Triathlon.

Captioning the photo, he wrote: “Iron Chef to Ironman for @greatormondst #teamramsay London Triathlon can’t wait! Great way to shake off jet lag…. good luck and congrats to all athletes and a BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers & sponsors couldn’t do it with out you!”

Fans were surprised and impressed with his muscular body, with one gushing that he looked absolutely ripped. “Holy crap!! Amazing! You go Gordon,” one commentator wrote.

Another added: “For your age that’s not bad.” And a third wrote: “Oh Gordon Ramsay way too hot.”

The picture comes after Gordon revealed he lost 25 kilograms with a military-style diet and exercise overhaul.

The celebrity chef previously told The Times in an interview: “Tana was not impressed with the way I was. I was overweight, 18 stone (114kg). I looked like a sack of s**t. I look at the pictures and think, ‘How did Tana stay around?’

“Because Tana has got better-looking and more gorgeous. And there she is, getting in bed with a fat f**k.”

He also revealed he was inspired to prioritise his health after his father died from a heart attack at the age of 53, and he wanted to be around for his kids Megan, 19, twins Holly and Jack, both 18 and Tilly, 16.

He explained: “It was painful. I used to look at myself in the mirror and think, ‘Holy s**t!’ So it was a big wake-up call.”

The Scottish-born chef has found international fame with an array of successful TV shows and books. At one point he even had his own video game.

He’s famous for using profanities in the kitchen and has world-class restaurants in a variety of locations around the world including Melbourne, Cape Town, Tokyo, Japan, France and Italy – just to name a few.

Do think he looks good? Are you a fan of the Scottish chef?
