Canadian songstress Celine Dion has been making headlines around the world with her quirky fashion sense and it seems she’s showing no signs of slowing any time soon.
Dion posted an adorable pic of herself on social media which showed the powerful singer nestled comfortably into a sound box.
The caption, which she wrote in French, read: “Wake me up before I go-go…to London!” referencing the 1984 hit by the duo Wham! of which late singer George Michael was a member.
Keeping it casual in a white singlet and bedazzled ripped blue jeans paired with white lace up high-heeled ankle boots, Dion appears to be fast asleep with her arms resting languorously behind her head of tousled locks.
Dion has shows scheduled in the London, Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow as part of her European tour.
She relaunched her career recently following a terrible year in 2016 during which she lost her beloved husband of 22 years, Rene, to throat cancer, as well as her brother Daniel, just two days later, also to cancer.
Dion has also been spotted out and about with backing dancer Pepe Muñoz at social events, including the Giambattista Valli fashion show, where he used his fashion illustrator skills to sketch some of the fashions on the runway.
“She makes you feel welcome, like you belong to the family, and like you’re part of the group,” he recently told Vogue magazine during an interview about Celine.
“She’s absolutely fearless with her style, her dancing, her performing, and as a person in her clothes.”
