Earlier this morning we reported boxing legend Muhammad Ali was on life support. We now have breaking news that the 74-year-0ld has died.
It’s a shock for not only his fans but people who knew his story – he was famous across the world and one of the most recognisable sports figures ever.
Nicknamed “The Greatest”, NBC News reports a family spokesman confirmed the news.
“After a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening,” Bob Gunnell, a family spokesman said.
RIP, Muhammad Ali. You inspired many and will live on as The Greatest.
