For years you have told us that you wanted to see mature models and relevant style advice for over-60s on our site in the same way magazines and websites do for younger generations. And for years we were simply unable to get fashion advertisers to talk to over-60s to help us create this with relevant and up-to-date products – as they just didn’t want to create proactive content for older generations. They told us a myriad of stories about this generation not shopping online, or not being the group they wanted as their customers. It made us mad – there’s no doubt. And that was at the core of why we had to build the Starts at 60 Marketplace – to put over-60s needs first, seeking out products, styling ideas, needs and wants for a generation so often ignored by retailers.
And now the new Starts at 60 Marketplace is here, we’re able to start our regular styling series, built around our fashion and footwear ranges and brands who really do want to speak with you. The first Starts at 60 Styling Tips series – Winter 2021 is hosted by expert stylist, Liz Golding. Liz is joined by the stunning model, Mary Dickinson who is 72 years young and looks gorgeous in everything Liz has styled her in. They are dressed by brands from the Starts at 60 Marketplace.
