They may not be as well-known as Prince Harry, Duchess Catherine or the Queen herself, but Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie sure know how to capture attention at a public event.
The sisters joined other members of the royal family at the Trooping the Colour event in London in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday over the weekend. The tens of thousands of fans who made their way to Whitehall first caught a glimpse of Princess Eugenie, 28, and older sister Princess Beatrice, 29, when they rode by carriage to the official celebrations with Sophie, Countess of Wessex and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor.
Bride-to-be Eugenie opted for an incredible green number for the outing as she happily waved at fans on the perfect London day. She wore her luscious red locks in a beautiful style for her grandmother’s big day and topped off the look with a huge floral-printed white hat. As always, her makeup was on point as she mingled with her cousins and other relatives for the big day.
As for Princess Beatrice, she opted for a headpiece that wasn’t as over-the-top as her sisters. Matching her gorgeous pink number, the eighth in line for the throne wore a red wicker fascinator that showed off her attractive face. She wore her hair in curls for the Trooping the Colour event and topped off her look with stunning makeup.
After they arrived at Buckingham Palace, the stylish sisters joined their other relatives on the famous balcony to watch the Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows fly past. Other notable royals who attended the family gathering included James, Viscount Severn, Lady Louise Windsor 4. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
The celebration marks the official birthday of the Queen, even though she was technically born on April 21. The event didn’t go without some interruptions, notably from younger members of the family. The whole show was nearly thrown into chaos when Princess Charlotte, three, fell over when the entire family was on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Duchess Catherine was forced to pick up her crying daughter and comfort her.
Royalists also noticed Savannah Phillips, the seven-year-old daughter of Peter and Autumn, becoming quite bossy towards Prince George at one point during the festivities. As the future king began giggling when the Royal Air Force flew past the palace, his older cousin could be seen shushing him. She was also spotted covering his mouth with her hands.

As for Princess Eugenie, she’s set to be the centre of attention later this year when she marries Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
