She may not be as well-known as her cousins, but bride-to-be Princess Eugenie certainly knows how to capture attention at a public event.
Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, was the picture of elegance as she stepped out in a vibrant emerald dress to attend a centenary celebration in honour of South African former President Nelson Mandela, in London on Wednesday.
The Queen’s 28-year-old granddaughter kept her look relatively simple in the bold green dress, which she teamed with a pair of nude strappy heels. She wore her luscious brunette locks in a beautiful wavy style and opted for natural make-up for the special occasion.
It’s not the first time the princess has worn the eye-catching dress either. She was previously pictured sporting the same dress at the Trooping the Colour event in London in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday last month.
Eugenie is set to marry her long-term partner Jack Brooksbank on October 12 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle – the same venue where Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex said their vows in May.
The future newlyweds announced they were inviting members of the British public to attend their special day, offering a close-up view of the second royal wedding of the year.
“Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank would like to invite members of the public to join their wedding on 12 October, 2018, to attend inside the Precincts of Windsor Castle,” the palace announced on Wednesday. “The couple are delighted to announce an opportunity for 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day.”

Royal fans will need to apply via a ballot to join the crowd inside of the castle grounds. After the ceremony, the newlyweds will have a short carriage procession, leaving Castle Hill and proceeding along part of the High Street before returning to the castle via Cambridge Bridge.
The couple will also invite representatives of charities they support and members of the Windsor community and children from local schools which Eugenie attended.
