Julie Bishop has stepped out in yet another stylish look, this time donning a bright pink mini dress on a night out in Manly, Sydney.

The former foreign affairs minister posed up a storm in the fitted number by Australian label Meraki Official, which is proving to be a staple in her wardrobe. The statement mini featured puff-sleeves, a style that was big in the 1980s and has since made a comeback in recent years, and stopped just above the knee, showing off her trim pins. The 64-year-old teamed the outfit with a sparkly clutch, gold jewellery, and for a change, wore her now-longer locks out straight.

Julie was pictured at the event alongside her partner David Panton and former work colleague New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian, who stepped out in a black fitted skirt and dark green blouse matched with a spotted blazer.

Fans of Julie’s were quick to comment on her latest pics with one writing, “Looking fabulous Julie”. Another added, “Banging. This dress! Wow”. While a third wrote, “So pretty in pink”.

It’s the second time in just under two weeks that Julie has worn a piece from the Aussie fashion label. Last Wednesday the former pollie set tongues wagging in a skin-tight leopard-print dress.

Pictured at the First Nations Fashion + Design show at Carriageworks in Sydney’s Eveleigh for day three of Australian Fashion Week, Julie look incredible in the midi-dress, which flattered her trim frame. The boldly patterned outfit also featured a notable sheen, giving off a leather-like wet look. With long sleeves, a high neck and knee-length hemline, the fierce look proved to everyone that you don’t need to tone things down in the style department as you get older.

The statement dress needed only a few simple accessories, and Julie added diamond-studded gold drop earrings, a pair of black stilettos and black tights. For make-up, Julie rarely puts a foot wrong and this was no different. Opting for a minimal, natural look that let the dress have the spotlight, she wore a light dewy foundation with a hint of blush and a nude lipstick. Julie styled her blonde tresses in a low bun.
