She’s known for her timeless style and vibrant outfits and Glenn Close didn’t disappoint for her latest glamorous appearance.
The actress, 71, put on a stunning display in a gorgeous floral dress as she attended the 34th Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California on Sunday.
The Fatal Attraction star, who received the Maltin Modern Master Award at the star-studded event, wowed in a floor-length floral frock, looking every bit the leading lady that she is.
The prestigious award is only handed out to the best of the best and was a momentous occasion for Glenn, who has impressed the industry with her versatility and talent throughout her career.
Stunning in the colourful number, she coupled it with a vibrant red coat which featured a striking hemline. To finish off the standout look, Glenn wore her short blonde locks curled to the side, and added subtle silver accessories.
It comes just a week after Glenn was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture at the SAG Awards for her role in The Wife.
The talented actress played the role of Joan, who is married to novelist Joe, played by Jonathan Pryce. The film follows her journey as she begins to question her life choices and the sacrifices she has made for her husband throughout their relationship.
She starred in the movie alongside her real-life daughter Annie Stark who plays the role of a younger Joan, in flashback scenes.
In a very frank chat with The Guardian in January, the actress revealed the sex scene with her co-star Jonathan was the first thing the pair shot on the film.
Speaking about the common misconception that those over the age of 50 aren’t interested in sex anymore, Glenn said: “It’s one of the great myths that you lose your sexuality as you get older.”
She added: “I feel as free and as creative, as sexual and as eager, as I ever have. And it’s ironic because I’m thinking ‘How much time do I have left now?’.”
