In the quest for a spotless kitchen, one ingenious hack has emerged, promising not only a gleaming oven but also a reprieve for your aching back.

With the game-changing discovery, you can bid farewell to strenuous scrubbing while hunched over the oven and hello to a more ergonomic approach that promises to make your kitchen shine without leaving you in pain.

The secret to this cleaning sensation? A little-known feature that allows you to remove the door of your oven, unlocking a whole new realm of cleaning efficiency.

Professional organiser Anita Birges unveiled the ultimate oven-cleaning hack on social media, not only leaving ovens gleaming but also saving the backs of homeowners across the country in the process

“I have the OVEN CLEANING HACK you need to know,” Birges began.

“This makes it so much easier to clean without breaking your back in the process

“Fortunately, the removal process is simple and similar no matter what kind of oven you have. All you have to do is slide the door’s hinges out from the oven’s frame. Some doors are also held in place by latches you can unlock by hand. When you’re ready to put the door back on, you can slide the hinges back into place again.

“But wait…. there’s more‼️

“You can also remove the glass to get in between the glass panels

“There are usually two retaining tabs on the sides between the two glass panels.

“Lift off the glass and make sure to handle the glass with care. They are super fragile

“Check your ovens manual, to find out where these latches and tabs are on your oven.”

The online community was quick to share their appreciation for the inventive hack, with many eager to try it out for themselves.

“Thanks for this tip… I knew there was a way to do this but was unsure where to start! Thank you again will give this a go,” one person said.

“This is great. And what is the best way to clean inside and clean the trays.”

“Any hack for this job is a bonus.”

Birges’ brilliant approach to effortlessly restore your oven’s sparkle isn’t the only hack taking the internet by storm, as another uncomplicated yet remarkably effective method has captured the attention of homeowners.

In a TikTok video, content creator Yagmur showcases her ingenuity by using a sliced lemon and a bowl of water to combat stubborn grime within an oven.

The process kicks off with Yagmur placing a sliced lemon into a generously filled bowl of water. With the oven switched on, she strategically positions the bowl inside the soiled appliance, allowing the lemon-infused water to work its magic.

After a mere 20 minutes, Yagmur removes the bowl from the oven and transforms the lemon water into a potent cleaning agent. Using a microfiber cloth soaked in the lemon water, she delicately wipes down the oven’s surfaces.

Surprisingly, the results are instantaneous. The grime on both the oven door and interior effortlessly lifts away, with the microfiber cloth effectively collecting the remnants of old grease.

“This just saved my life,” Yagmur wrote alongside the video.

“Natural oven cleaning hack. I will also clean my airfryer & microwave with this way.”
