Everyone deserves a treat now and then, and these cookies will melt in your mouth. The chocolatey goodness is simply irresistible. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1/2 granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
110g milk chocolate chunks
110g dark chocolate chunks
Method
Place sugars, salt and butter together in a large bowl and whisk well.
Add in egg and vanilla and continue beating until a thick mixture is formed.
Sift in flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture using a spatular.
Fold in chocolate chunks, then chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Once dough is set, scoop spoonfuls out and place on baking sheet, making sure to leave enough space between each cookie so they don’t spread into each other.
