Do you struggle without your daily caffeine hit and crave a sip of delicious coffee as soon as your eyes open in the morning? You’re not alone. As Aussies we love a nice, hot cup of coffee to start the day, it gives us that boost of energy we need to start moving and simply puts us in a better mood.

But, let’s be honest, most coffees at home simply can’t compare to the range of beverages you can purchase at the local cafe. Even pods from the local supermarket often have that instant coffee flavour – burnt, bitter and just not enjoyable. But, thankfully there’s a brand you can trust to deliver a cafe quality coffee each day – and, better yet, it’s Australian-owned.

The family brand Pod & Parcel was created in 2016 by three guys who, like many other Aussies were sick of wasting their money on average coffee. And since then the company has soared, with the 11 different coffee pod varieties wowing coffee-lovers around the country. In fact, the Nespresso-compatible pods have received over 5,000 5-star reviews – so, that’s certainly saying something!

“What a treat to have cafe coffee at home,” one happy customer said. “The process of ordering and delivery was so efficient and I feel like I’m my own barista as I choose from the sample pack each day. Thank you!”

While another coffee-lover added: “Had my first order with Pod & Parcel last week. Definitely recommend. Coffee doesn’t taste burnt, all packing is recyclable or can go in compost. Support local business. Can’t go wrong.”

Pod & Parcel offers a mix of both single origin and blends, with each ranging in intensity, mouthfeel and notes. But, flavour aside, the company is serious about quality too, and all the coffee is specialty-grade, meaning it’s equal to or above 80 points on a 100-point scale, in accordance with the Speciality Coffee Association of America guidelines.

Put simply, it’s pretty incredible! In fact, they say any of their varieties would make even the fussiest of baristas blush. But, that’s not all – it gets better. Instead of getting out of our comfy pyjamas in the morning to head to the shops or cafe, you can have the delicious pods delivered straight to your door, which is perfect for those who are self-isolating due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Pod & Parcel has a special subscription service called The Coffee Club where you can choose to have your favourite varieties delivered on a regular basis at a discounted price. You can stick with one variety or choose to have a range of different flavours delivered to your door to mix things up, and you can also choose how often you want to receive the pods. It’s a pretty impressive deal and means you won’t ever run out of coffee.

And, you won’t have to worry about the impact your coffee drinking habits are having on the environment either. The pods are just as healthy for the environment as the coffee is for your soul, with both the capsule and the sleeve biodegradable and compostable, breaking down within 90 days in a commercial composting facility. So, really it’s a win-win situation for everyone.
