Gemma came home and put her school bag down.

“Mummy, there’s a special adults evening at school tomorrow,” she said sweetly.

“Oh really?” said Gemma’s mother. “I didn’t get a note about it. What makes it so special?”

“It’ll just be you, the teacher, the principal and some police officers,” said Gemma.
