5 easy updos for Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner and once everything for the day is organised, why not turn your attention to your look on the day?

Don’t leave looking for an easy hairstyle for Christmas Day to the last minute – here’s 5 updos that are so simple but elegant.

1. Elegant high bun

Step 1: Brush all of your hair so it is sleek and knot-free

Step 2: Tie your hair in a neat high pony tail

Step 3-5: Take your hair donut and slide hair through the middle to the base of your pony tail

Step 6: Splay out all your hair around the donut.

Step 7: Twist hair around donut in one direction.

Step 8: Secure with bobby pin.

2. Sweepy low bun

Step 1: Clip up the crown section of your hair and tease.

Step 2: Tie the rest of your hair up into a ponytail

Step 3: Take the ponytail and twist tightly. Pull one piece of hair at the ends and hold on while you push the rest of it up to create a messy piece.

Step 4: Twist the messy ponytail around and secure.

Step 5: Twist your crown piece of hair around the bun in a clockwise direction.

Step 6 and 7: Secure the ends.

3. Fancy two-step bun

Step 1: Twist pieces of hair around each other on one side.

Step 2: Twist around like a normal bun and secure!

4. Easy roll-up do

Step 1: Brush all your hair so it is smooth and knot free.

Step 2: Gather hair into low ponytail.

Step 3: Put your finger through your ponytail to create a hole, then loop the hair through itself.

Step 4: Loop the hair through the hole again.

Step 5: Loop the ponytail through the hole and secure the end.

5. Roll chignon

Step 1: Brush all your hair so it is smooth and knot free.

Step 2: Gather hair into low ponytail.
