Heading overseas? You may know where you want to go and when but do you know who you want to fly with? Choosing an airline can be a bigger decision than it may first appear, after all, we are talking about long-haul travel here. With Europe Earlybird season upon us, let’s take a look at one of the premier airlines out there taking Aussie travellers across the globe, Emirates.

Boasting a global partnership with our very own Qantas, Emirates can take you to places you’ve always dreamed of. Working together, the two airlines operate 14 flights daily between Dubai, Australia and beyond, with shared lounge access, state-of-the-art aircraft and award-winning in-flight entertainment and service. Proudly offering a wide network of over 35 one-stop European cities, Emirates could be the ticket to your own Europe adventure.

What to expect onboard

Flights with Emirates can be enjoyed in Economy, Business or First Class. Whichever way you choose to go, the hours are guaranteed to fly by with Emirates’ multi-award winning in-flight entertainment system. You will have a wide selection of television shows, games, music, news and more all at your fingertips. Economy Class travellers will have personal seatback monitors with even SMS, telephone and email service at every seat. Choose to fly Business Class and enjoy spacious seating with lie-flat beds on select aircraft. Go all out with a First Class ticket and rest up in your own private luxury suite on select flights, complete with a sliding door, personal mini-bar, ambient lighting, vanity table, wardrobe and convertible lie-flat bed. If you happen to be flying on the world-class stylish A380, you can even grab a five-star snack from the Onboard Lounge or enjoy a deluxe spa experience with onboard Shower Spas for weary travellers.

Taking the grandkids?

If you are joining the family on an adventure and plan to have the grandkids in tow, you’ll be happy to hear about Emirates Young Flyers program. The grandkids will be entertained every step of the way with dedicated children’s channels on the in-flight systems plus brightly coloured headsets, magazines and even complimentary birthday cakes. Preschool aged children will be introduced to the friendly characters from the Fly With Me Monsters collection plus there will be special kids meals for even the fussiest eaters.
